At The Gordon Group we pride ourselves on giving the best possible advice on your vacation. While our role is one of counseling, with the final decision being yours to select a destination, hotels, mode of transportation, cruise, or tour, our aim is to provide you with travel bookings as accurately as requested by you.

Accidents, illnesses, and/or trip irregularities can and do occur and The Gordon Group has had enough experience to have sought out and introduced a travel insurance plan which covers at least major portions of such expenses. For piece of mind, before and while traveling, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance. We cannot issue final documents for your trip without either a waiver on file or a purchased Policy.

It is further disclosed that in offering any travel arrangements for sale, or in accepting reservations for service which are not directly supplied by The Gordon Group, we act only in the capacity of an intermediary agent for the various suppliers of travel services in your itinerary. For information concerning possible travel warnings at international destinations, we recommend contacting the travel advisory section of the U.S. State Department Travel Hotline at www.travel.state.gov or (202) 647-5225.

To obtain health warnings for the area you might be traveling to you can go to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) at www.cdc.gov/travel or (877) 394-8747.

Please Note: Canada (like the United States has rules that prohibit entry for persons with specific ineligibilities. For example, anyone with a criminal record (including misdemeanors or Driving While Impaired (DWI)), no matter how long ago, may be barred from entering Canada and must obtain a special waiver well in advance of any planned travel. For further information on entry requirements please contact the Canadian Embassy.

Because of its status as an agent, and because it maintains no control over the personnel, equipment, or operations of the tour/cruise/hotel operator or any travel service suppliers, The Gordon Group can assume no responsibility for and can not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of (1) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of the tour/cruise/hotel operator of any of the suppliers, (2) any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any employee of the tour/cruise/hotel operator or any of the suppliers, (3) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated, or otherwise used by the tour/cruise/hotel operator or by any of the suppliers, or (4) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under the control, direct or otherwise, of The Gordon Group.

Your retention of tickets, reservations or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent to the above, and an agreement on your part to convey the contents hereof to your travel companions or group members.

Most airlines, tour, cruise, hotel and other operators charge a cancellation penalty, the percentage of penalty charged being based on the proximity of the cancellation date to the departure date. We urge you to remain cognizant of such cancellation penalties and we, again, recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance, to cover against unforeseen accidents and/or illnesses. Likewise, any late changes in travel itinerary you may request us to perform, may be subject to a fee imposed by the travel product operator.

Naturally, we wish you the best of trips, but in the event of any irregularity, we suggest you inform us of such in writing, so we may seek out a possible remedy or adjustments on your behalf from the travel suppliers. As such, and if so provided for in the terms of our suppliers, we return to you any such adjustments as we may receive from our suppliers on your behalf.
